Follow-up integration

Bring the thread into the brief. Send with intent.

Gmail has two distinct roles in Noter: optional thread enrichment while building a meeting brief, and a connected tool the assistant can use to draft relevant follow-up.

A defensible workflow

Carry context forward without hiding the review step.

01

Choose enrichment

Enable Gmail context at brief time when recent participant threads would help prepare.

02

Keep access scoped

Google Calendar and Contacts are read-only; Gmail enrichment is optional rather than assumed.

03

Draft from evidence

Build the follow-up from the meeting record, supported commitments, and the thread context you chose.

04

Confirm the send

Sending is a sensitive action and always requires confirmation, regardless of chat mode.

How access works

Enabled per conversation.

A connected app is not automatically available to every chat. Noter assembles the enabled tool surface for the conversation, and a tool switched off there is unavailable to the agent.

Review boundary

Before sending, verify recipients, attachments, quoted history, dates, and anything the transcript may have misheard.

Sending, deleting, paying, and overwriting always require confirmation. Other tool actions follow the selected chat mode and the specific operation’s risk.

Use Gmail with your meeting context.

Connect the tools you choose in the private macOS beta.
