Providers and purposes
This list includes Noter’s service providers and optional services you connect through your own account. Listing a provider does not mean every user’s content is sent to it.
- Anthropic
- Assistant responses, extraction, and meeting briefs using the content needed for your request. Also available through an Anthropic account you connect.
- OpenAI

Data handling
Noter opts transcription requests out of Deepgram’s Model Improvement Program.
Noter enables Zero Data Retention for the xAI team used for transcription. Under xAI’s published ZDR policy, API request and response content is not persisted to disk and is excluded from its default 30-day audit retention.
Noter’s live transcription relay processes audio, vocabulary hints, and transcription results in memory without writing that content to its application logs or persistent storage. Technical connection and usage metadata may be retained for operation and accounting.
These settings do not delete saved transcripts, notes, or account records. See our retention and deletion policy for how Noter handles stored information.
Provider terms, locations, and retention practices may change. We update this page as our providers change; notices of material changes to our use of personal information are described in the privacy policy.
